एवमुक्तो हृषीकेशो गुडाकेशेन भारत |
सेनयोरुभयोर्मध्ये स्थापयित्वा रथोत्तमम् ||1. 24 ||
Transliteration:
Sañjaya uvācha:
Evam ukto hṛiṣhīkeśho guḍākeśhena bhārata |
Senayor ubhayor madhye sthāpayitvā rathottamam. ||1. 24 ||
Translation:
Sanjaya said: O Dhritarashtra, thus addressed by Arjuna, Lord Krishna, placed the magnificent chariot in the midst of the two armies.
Hindi Translation:
संजय ने कहा: हे धृतराष्ट्र, अर्जुन द्वारा इस प्रकार संबोधित किये जाने पर, भगवान कृष्ण ने उस भव्य रथ को दोनों सेनाओं के बीच में खड़ा कर दिया।
Explanation:
In this verse, Sanjaya, the narrator of the Bhagavad Gita, describes how, upon Arjuna’s request, Lord Krishna (referred to here as Hrishikesha, the master of the senses) positioned the chariot between the two armies.
