Yeṣhām arthe kāṅkṣhitaṁ no rājyam bhogāḥ sukhāni cha।
Ta ime’vasthitā yuddhe prāṇāṁs tyaktvā dhanāni cha॥1.33॥

Translation:
"For whose sake we desire kingdom, enjoyments, and pleasures, they are standing here in battle, having renounced their lives and wealth."

अर्जुन श्रीकृष्ण से पूछ रहे हैं कि 'जिनके लिए हम राज्य, भोग और सुख चाहते हैं, वे ही अपने जीवन और धन का त्याग करके यहाँ युद्ध में खड़े हैं।'
