Bhagavad Gita: Chapter 3, Shloka 39

श्लोक 39:
आवृतं ज्ञानमेतेन ज्ञानिनो नित्यवैरिणा।
कामरूपेण कौन्तेय दुष्पुरेणानलेन च॥39

Transliteration:
āvṛitaṁ jñānam etena jñānino nitya-vairiṇā
kāma-rūpeṇa kaunteya duṣhpūreṇānalena cha

Translation:
Knowledge is covered by this eternal enemy of the wise, in the form of insatiable desire, O son of Kunti, which is like an insatiable fire.

In this shloka, Krishna explains that wisdom is obscured by the eternal enemy of desire, which takes the form of insatiable craving. This desire is compared to a fire that can never be satisfied, constantly consuming and burning.

Hindi Translation:
इस श्लोक में, कृष्ण बताते हैं कि बुद्धि इच्छा के शाश्वत शत्रु द्वारा अस्पष्ट है, जो अतृप्त लालसा का रूप लेती है। इस इच्छा की तुलना उस आग से की जाती है जो कभी संतुष्ट नहीं हो सकती, लगातार भस्म करती और जलती रहती है।
