Bhagavad Gita Chapter 12, Shloka 14

Sankrit Shlok: 12.14:
सन्तुष्टः सततं योगी यतात्मा दृढनिश्चयः।
मय्यर्पितमनोबुद्धिर्यो मद्भक्तः स मे प्रियः।।12.14।।

Transliteration:
Santuṣhṭaḥ satataṁ yogī yatātmā dṛiḍha-niśhchayaḥ।
Mayyarpita-mano-buddhir yo mad-bhaktaḥ sa me priyaḥ ।।12.14।।

English Translation:
"The devotee who is ever content, self-controlled, resolute, whose mind and intellect are dedicated to Me—such a devotee of Mine is dear to Me."

Hindi Translation:
"जो भक्त सदैव संतुष्ट, संयमी, दृढ़ निश्चयी है, जिसका मन और बुद्धि मेरे प्रति समर्पित है - ऐसा मेरा भक्त मुझे प्रिय है।"

English Explanation:
In this verse, Lord Krishna emphasizes the importance of contentment, self-control, and unwavering determination. A true devotee remains constantly satisfied, exercises self-discipline, and has a firm resolve. Such a devotee dedicates both their mind and intellect to God, and as a result, becomes dear to Him.

Hindi Explanation:
इस श्लोक में भगवान कृष्ण संतोष, आत्म-नियंत्रण और अटूट दृढ़ संकल्प के महत्व पर जोर देते हैं। एक सच्चा भक्त सदैव संतुष्ट रहता है, आत्म-अनुशासन का पालन करता है और दृढ़ संकल्प रखता है। ऐसा भक्त अपना मन और बुद्धि दोनों भगवान को समर्पित कर देता है और परिणामस्वरूप, वह उसका प्रिय बन जाता है।
