यद्यप्येते न पश्यन्ति लोभोपहतचेतसः।
कुलक्षयकृतं दोषं मित्रद्रोहे च पातकम्।।1.38।।

Yady apy ete na paśyanti lobhopahatacetasaḥ।
Kulakṣayakṛtaṁ doṣaṁ mitradrohe ca pātakam. ।।1.38।।

Translation:
"Even if these people, whose minds are overpowered by greed, fail to see the wrong in destroying families and causing enmity with friends,"

Hindi Translation:
"भले ही ये लोग, जिनके दिमाग पर लालच हावी है, परिवारों को नष्ट करने और दोस्तों के साथ दुश्मनी पैदा करने में ग़लती नहीं देखते हैं,"

Explanation:
In this verse, Arjuna points out that the opponents, led by Duryodhana and the Kauravas, are blinded by greed and unable to see the grave sins they commit by destroying family lineages (kula-kshaya) and betraying friends (mitra-droha).
