Kathaṁ na jñeyam asmābhiḥ pāpād asmān nivartitum।
Kulakṣayakṛtaṁ doṣaṁ prapaśyadbhir janārdana. ।।1.39।।

"O Janardana (Krishna), should we not refrain from committing such a great sin? We, who clearly see the evil arising from the destruction of family traditions, must avoid this crime."
Hindi Translation:
"हे जनार्दन (कृष्ण), क्या हमें इतना बड़ा पाप करने से बचना नहीं चाहिए? हम, जो पारिवारिक परंपराओं के विनाश से उत्पन्न होने वाली बुराई को स्पष्ट रूप से देखते हैं, हमें इस अपराध से बचना चाहिए।"
