ॐ श्रीपरमात्मने नम:
श्रीमद्भगवद्गीता अथ द्वादशोऽध्यायः
वसुदेवसुतं(न्) देवं(ङ्), कंसचाणूरमर्दनम्।
देवकीपरमानन्दं(ङ्), कृष्णं(व्ँ) वन्दे जगद्गुरुम्॥
Sanskrit:
अर्जुन उवाच |
एवं सततयुक्ता ये भक्तास्त्वां पर्युपासते |
ये चाप्यक्षरमव्यक्तं तेषां के योगवित्तमाः || 1 ||
Transliteration:
arjuna uvāca
evaṁ satatayuktā ye bhaktās tvāṁ paryupāsate |
ye cāpy akṣaram avyaktaṁ teṣāṁ ke yogavittamāḥ|| 1 ||
Translation:
Arjuna said:
Which among those devotees are better versed in Yoga - those who are ever steadfast and worship You in devotion, or those who worship the imperishable, the unmanifested Brahman?
English Meaning:
In this verse, Arjuna is asking Krishna about the comparative merits of the two types of worship: personal devotion to a manifest form of God and the worship of the formless, unmanifest Brahman.

इस श्लोक में, अर्जुन कृष्ण से दो प्रकार की पूजा के तुलनात्मक गुणों के बारे में पूछ रहा है: भगवान के प्रकट रूप के प्रति व्यक्तिगत भक्ति और निराकार, अव्यक्त ब्रह्म की पूजा।
