Bhagavad Gita: Chapter 3, Shloka 33

श्लोक 33:
सदृशं चेष्टते स्वस्याः प्रकृतेर्ज्ञानवानपि।
प्रकृतिं यान्ति भूतानि निग्रहः किं करिष्यति॥33

Transliteration:
sadṛiśhaṁ cheṣhṭate svasyāḥ prakṛiter jñānavān api
prakṛitiṁ yānti bhūtāni nigrahaḥ kiṁ kariṣhyati
Translation:
Even a person of knowledge acts according to their own nature, for all living beings follow their nature. What can repression accomplish?

This shloka explains that everyone behaves according to their inherent nature. Even a wise person cannot escape their natural tendencies, and mere suppression of these tendencies is not effective.

यह श्लोक बताता है कि हर कोई अपने अंतर्निहित स्वभाव के अनुसार व्यवहार करता है। यहां तक कि एक बुद्धिमान व्यक्ति भी अपनी स्वाभाविक प्रवृत्तियों से बच नहीं सकता है और इन प्रवृत्तियों का दमन मात्र प्रभावी नहीं होता है।
