Bhagavad Gita: Chapter 3, Shloka 21

 

**यद्यदाचरति श्रेष्ठस्तत्तदेवेतरो जनः |
स यत्प्रमाणं कुरुते लोकस्तदनुवर्तते || 21 ||

Transliteration:
yad yad ācharati śhreṣhṭhas tat tad evetaro janaḥ
sa yat pramāṇaṁ kurute lokas tad anuvartate

Translation:
Whatever action is performed by a great man, common men follow. Whatever standards he sets by exemplary acts, all the world pursues.

In this verse, Krishna explains the importance of exemplary behavior by leaders. He says that whatever actions a great person performs, others follow. The standards set by such a person become the norms for the rest of the people. Therefore, Krishna is emphasizing the responsibility of influential individuals to act righteously and set a positive example for society.

इस श्लोक में कृष्ण नेताओं द्वारा अनुकरणीय व्यवहार के महत्व को समझाते हैं। उनका कहना है कि एक महान व्यक्ति जो भी कार्य करता है, अन्य लोग उसका अनुसरण करते हैं। ऐसे व्यक्ति द्वारा निर्धारित मानक बाकी लोगों के लिए मानक बन जाते हैं। इसलिए, कृष्ण प्रभावशाली व्यक्तियों की धार्मिकता से कार्य करने और समाज के लिए एक सकारात्मक उदाहरण स्थापित करने की जिम्मेदारी पर जोर दे रहे हैं
