Sanskrit Shlok – 1.32
न काङ्क्षे विजयं कृष्ण न च राज्यं सुखानि च |
किं नो राज्येन गोविन्द किं भोगैर्जीवितेन वा || 1.32 ||

Transliteration:
Na kāṅkṣe vijayaṁ kṛṣṇa na ca rājyaṁ sukhāni ca |
Kiṁ no rājyena govinda kiṁ bhogairjīvitena vā.|| 1.32 ||

Translation:
Arjuna speaks to Lord Krishna, expressing his deep despondency and inner turmoil. He says, "O Krishna, I do not desire victory, kingdom, or the pleasures of life. Of what use is the kingdom to us, O Govinda, or enjoyment, or even life itself?"

Hindi Translation:
अर्जुन अपनी गहरी निराशा और आंतरिक अशांति व्यक्त करते हुए भगवान कृष्ण से बात करते हैं। वह कहते हैं, "हे कृष्ण, मुझे विजय, राज्य, या जीवन के सुखों की इच्छा नहीं है। हे गोविंद, राज्य, या आनंद, या यहाँ तक कि जीवन का हमारे लिए क्या उपयोग है?"

Explanation:
In this verse, Arjuna is overwhelmed with sorrow and confusion, questioning the value of worldly gains such as power, wealth, and pleasure, particularly at the cost of fighting his own kin. It reflects the ethical and emotional conflict in his heart as he faces the prospect of war.
